No,No, read that name again... it's notIIT its IIIT.
Its not one of those colleges that a kid grows up aspiring for. Neither is it a "COLLEGE" like colleges are assumed to be. Yes, I study here.
Preparing for IIT, i ended up with an extra 'i'. Today though there are no regrets. :). infact its just smiles.
A few days back the Dean of the college termed IIIT as an "Academic NDA". Well...it didnt need this certification from the Dean, I had already figuredthat out.
Well , i'mwriting this blog taking time out from never ending assignments and deadlines.
just waiting for the next ass to be uploaded.
I was tempted to write this blog on popular recommendation.(just one guy asked me to do so though... ).
Back in baroda i had LOTS of friends...who today have spread into all colleges i've ever heard of, and more. when i talk to them i realize IIIT is so much different from the rest. Mind u ... being different is not always a positive!
I dont know how many of you have ever heard of this college. But i dont care. I know about it and I'm Loving it.
Strangely for most college goers... We attend classes, atleast phisically almost daily andwe've never thought of a mass bunk. We do our assignments ourselves(well, almost). we barely party. A completion of an ass (short of assignment) is in itself a party like feeling. The reward "a good night's sleep".
But we cant deny ourself our peice of cake can we?
we enjoy our days the IIIT style. Hacking the workspace computers to get windows working on an otherwise linux comp and playing CS , Dota ...(none of the games i'm good at).
Oh ...ofcourse our very own bakchodi... RULES.
Reaching this point of the blog... i realise that there nothing 'exciting' that happens on campus that u'd like to listen to... Except for a few events like rocknite which a few dozen audience and a couple of sport events that attracts spectators on a similar scale.
And there are coding competions almost weekly. This is by far the clear winner, attracting almost half of the college. And people other than me walk away with pretty prizes... and me and my UG1 frnds are left with some consolations... We take that as a prize though!!
Oops, the assignment is OUT!!!
So,i gtg... Not for completing it... but to tell the rest this news...

The food here is awsum and has variety that can pls diff taste-buds and compared to those 2 I colleges much above in health standard.....
(No comments on Yukhtahaar mess though..personaly feel that Baba Ramdev decides its menu.. :) )
But wrong selection of mess can b 'a bit' weird (some say so....but 2 me ...."WTH")...
